Terms of Service

1. Introduction
This document sets out the terms and conditions governing the use of the golfrange.online (GRO) platform and regulates the legal relationship between the service provider and users.
The website is a digital educational platform that enables golf players and coaches to create, share, and view instructional materials.
By using the service, the user accepts the provisions of these General Terms and Conditions.
This document complies with Hungarian law, in particular the Civil Code, the Act on Electronic Commerce, and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union.

2. Platform Purpose and Service
The primary purpose of the platform is to provide digital golf instruction through graphic and video-based learning materials.
The system enables the uploading of instructional materials and videos, sharing of technical analyses, and publishing of educational content.
The platform may also include community features such as comments, feedback, or rating systems.
The service provider reserves the right to technically develop the platform, introduce new features, or modify existing features.
The service is educational in nature and does not constitute personal sports coaching or health advice.
3. User Registration
Certain features of the platform require registration.
The user is obliged to provide accurate information and to keep their password secure.
The service provider is entitled to suspend or delete an account in the event of a breach of these terms or misuse of the platform.
4. Subscription and Automatic Renewal
Certain content on the platform is available through a 30-day or annual subscription.
The subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing cycle until cancelled by the user.
Cancellation can be initiated in the user's account settings and takes effect from the next billing cycle.
Under Hungarian Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.), consumers have the right to withdraw from a contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The user acknowledges that once the performance of the service has commenced (i.e. upon activating access to the platform after registration), they forfeit their 14-day right of withdrawal without giving any reason.
5. Online Payment
Payments are processed through online payment service providers.
The platform may support multiple payment methods, including card payments via Stripe, PayPal, or other online payment providers.
The service provider does not store payment data; this is handled exclusively by the payment service providers.
Where applicable, Stripe may apply appropriate data transfer mechanisms for international transfers, including EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Stripe's detailed data processing terms are available at: stripe.com/legal/dpa, stripe.com/privacy, stripe.com/legal/dta.
Depending on the specific processing operation, Stripe may act as a data processor, independent controller, or in certain services as a joint controller. The service provider does not access or store full card details; card processing is carried out solely by Stripe. The service provider may process the transaction ID, payment status, subscription status, billing information, and related technical data.
6. User-Uploaded Content
The platform allows users and coaches to upload videos and other content.
The uploader bears full responsibility for the content they upload.
The uploader confirms that the content does not infringe the copyright or other rights of any third party.
The uploader confirms that they hold the necessary rights to use the content.
The service provider is entitled to remove content that is unlawful or otherwise inappropriate.
7. Content Licence
By uploading content, the user grants the service provider a non-exclusive licence to display that content on the platform.
The service provider is entitled to technically process and distribute the content as necessary for the operation of the platform.
8. Acceptable Use
It is prohibited to upload content that is unlawful, offensive, defamatory, or in breach of copyright.
The platform may not be used to harass other users or disrupt the operation of the system.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the platform — including the VIASOLIDUS method, training materials, software, and design — is protected by copyright.
Copying, distributing, or commercially exploiting any content without the prior written consent of the rights holder is prohibited.
10. Limitation of Liability
Golf involves physical activity; users perform all exercises at their own risk.
The service provider accepts no liability for content uploaded by users or for damages resulting from technical errors.
The service provider accepts no liability for injuries or harm to health.
The platform provides educational content only. Users must use the service in a manner appropriate to their own physical condition.
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary. The provisions of this document shall be interpreted in accordance with Hungarian law. For international users, the English version of this document governs, unless the service provider expressly provides otherwise.
The parties shall endeavour to resolve any disputes amicably. If this proves unsuccessful, the parties agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Pesti Központi Kerületi Bíróság (Central District Court of Pest).
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via a notice on the platform. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
